Certification for all electronic clinical quality measures accelerates quality measure reporting for providers across the continuum of care
Princeton, NJ — December 15, 2014 — SpectraMedix, a leading provider of solutions that accelerate the transition to pay for performance and risk-based models, has announced that eMeasures360, version 4 has achieved ONC HIT 2014 Edition Modular EHR certification for all 29 inpatient and all 64 ambulatory electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs). This certification designates that the software can support Eligible Hospitals (EHs) and Eligible Professionals (EPs) with meeting the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

eMeasures360, version 4 was granted certification for all 64 EP CQMs on December 4, 2014 and all 29 EH CQMs on June 27, 2014. It was certified by ICSA Labs, an Office of the National Coordinator-Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) and is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).
ONC HIT 2014 Edition Certification is granted to those technologies that are capable of meeting the more rigorous testing criteria developed to support providers and hospitals who wish to demonstrate Stage 2 Meaningful Use, which focuses on the capability of health IT to deliver higher quality patient care and exchange clinical information securely.

The ONC Certified Health Information Technology (HIT) program tests and certifies that HIT is capable of meeting the 2014 Edition criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).
