The SpectraMedix DSRIP Platform will provide advanced data integration, measures reporting and projects analytics to power FLPPS Medicaid healthcare transformation initiatives
East Windsor, NJ — November 21, 2016 — As a result of an extensive vendor selection process, Finger Lakes Performing Provider System (FLPPS) has selected the SpectraMedix DSRIP Platform to help transform care delivery for Medicaid patients and reach DSRIP project goals across its 13 county region in New York State. The data integration, analytics and reporting capabilities of the SpectraMedix DSRIP Platform are currently being utilized by four New York Performing Provider Systems.
“We are eager to get started with SpectraMedix,” said Jose Rosario, Sr. Director of IT & Analytics, FLPPS. “For FLPPS to achieve true system transformation, we need to effectively measure what is happening within our current healthcare delivery system and our performance improvements going forward. The data analytics we will be able to conduct on the SpectraMedix platform will help us to create a clearer understanding of how our system is serving our Medicaid members, its effect on their health outcomes, and our opportunities to assist our partners in achieving the Triple Aim.”
The SpectraMedix DSRIP Platform is a vendor-agnostic, near real-time measures reporting and population health intelligence solution that integrates and normalizes data from multiple sources. The Platform will enable FLPPS to utilize:
Extensive DSRIP measurement capabilities including:
- A library of over 100 pre-built DSRIP measures for New York State DOH reporting
- A measures-authoring tool to create custom measures for additional programs
- Proxy measures, which utilize alternate data sources to avoid a lag in tracking PPS performance
- DSRIP project analytics to target “super utilizers,” high-risk patients and populations
- Patient registries and scorecards to identify gaps in care and improve patient health
- Rapid integration capabilities with care management partners
The DSRIP Platform is part of the SpectraMedix 360™ suite of clinical and business intelligence solutions. SpectraMedix 360™ is utilized by hospitals, health systems and payers to implement pay for performance and shared risk initiatives including the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), Medi-Cal PRIME, Clinically Integrated Networks, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs).
