The SpectraMedix Analytics Solution empowers health systems to improve hospital operations and performance in value-based care programs including DSRIP.

East Windsor, NJ — April 15, 2016 —SpectraMedix announced the latest release of its Health System Analytics Solution, which includes enhanced Physician Scorecards. Physician Scorecards enable executives and clinicians to easily identify areas for improvement and make adjustments.

As the healthcare environment shifts from Pay for Service to Merit Based Payment models, demonstrating better clinical results coupled with decreased overall costs is critical. The performance of hospital-based physicians has a major impact on both a health system’s patient outcomes and its overall financial situation.

The SpectraMedix Health System Analytics Solution integrates clinical and claims data from multiple disparate sources into an Enterprise Data Warehouse. Physician performance scores provide near real-time, actionable information for use both at the executive and clinician levels. Risk-Adjusted Length of Stay and Variance Metrics help to ensure that physicians treating conditions of varying complexity and severity are properly benchmarked against each other. Statistics can also be measured against state and local benchmarks.

In addition to Physician Scorecards, the Solution also provides Readmission Scorecards, Care Management Dashboards, a monthly PSI-90 Calculator and Scorecard (HAC/HAI Platform), a VBP FY2018 Scorecard and a DSRIP Project Analytics Dashboard.

The eMeasures360™ platform, which is ONC certified to report all 64 eligible professional (EP) eCQMs and all 29 eligible hospital (EH) eCQMs contains a comprehensive database of hospital and ambulatory measures, including over 200 PQRS, NQF, HEDIS, AHRQ and Survey measures, as well as the ability to rapidly build custom measures for other quality initiatives.

“SpectraMedix’s Physician Scorecards provides healthcare organizations an opportunity to improve patient outcomes and lower costs,” said Raj Lakhanpal, MD, FRCS, FACEP, Chief Executive Officer, SpectraMedix. ““We look forward to supporting health systems in their commitment to providing the highest quality of care to patients.”
