Platform enables California DPHs and DMPHs to achieve quality improvement milestones and maximize payments
East Windsor, NJ — September 26, 2016 — SpectraMedix, a leader in enabling healthcare organizations to succeed in performance-driven population health and healthcare delivery transformation initiatives, has released their Public Hospital Redesign and Incentives in Medi-Cal (PRIME) Platform. The SpectraMedix PRIME Platform supports California Designated Public Hospitals (DPHs) and District/Municipal Public Hospitals (DMPHs) in achieving PRIME’s strict performance requirements to earn financial incentives.
An extension of the California Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program, PRIME incorporates a more rigid structure that bases payments on performance in standardized project metrics.
“SpectraMedix provides DPHs and DPMHs a comprehensive Medi-Cal PRIME Platform with data integration, pay for performance measures reporting, and data visualization capabilities tailored to their specific delivery system and population health improvement needs,” said Raj Lakhanpal, MD, FRCS, FACEP, Chief Executive Officer, SpectraMedix. “These capabilities are currently being utilized by New York State Performing Provider Systems to achieve their DSRIP IT and pay for performance goals.”
The SpectraMedix PRIME Platform leverages a Measures Framework that includes a database of CMS, DSRIP, NQF, HEDIS, AHRQ and survey measures. It also provides the ability to build custom measures for incentive or pay for performance programs. Additionally, the Platform offers advanced population and patient level risk stratification, including identification and management of high-utilizers. Beyond PRIME, the scalable SpectraMedix Platform positions hospitals to participate in value-based care initiatives including Accountable Care Organizations, transitioning to MIPS, clinically integrated network development and PCMHs.
The SpectraMedix PRIME Platform is supported by a team of dedicated Medicaid and delivery system reform experts that collaborate with DPH and DPMH teams to address PRIME data, IT and reporting requirements and challenges.
