Designation: System and Network Engineer

Location: Gurgaon

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Providing technical and diagnostic support for all on-site and co-lo datacenter hardware/software; and Azure hosted VMs and managed services
• Maintaining overall ownership of user’s issue & service ensuring resolution within agreed service levels.
• Managing the Help Desk system by recording appropriate information for issues and incidents and resolving the issues from a remote location or by accessing servers and users’ PC devices locally
• Troubleshooting Windows and Windows Server Operating System and general software related issues.
• Troubleshooting Network and VPN (IPsec) tunnel related issues, Microsoft Office Professional applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access), Office365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Yammer, SharePoint), Internet Explorer and other web browsers, desktops, laptops, printers, firewalls, switches, LAN/WAN/WIFI connectivity and other IT components as assigned.
• Providing IT leadership and collaboration with offshore administration and operations

• Experience with Windows / Linux Servers, virtualized servers (Hyper-V, VMWare, Microsoft Azure servers (VMs), etc.
• Working knowledge of device access management protocols, Remote Desktop configurations and VPNs
• Generates/acknowledges/maintains/updates status of IT and security projects, incidents, tasks and change requests
• Maintains system compliance with information security policies
• Develops processes for improving network and server efficiencies, as well as identifies/implements automation tools for existing manual processes.
• Prepares technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of network design and operational requirements.

• Must be flexible and able to work on a schedule other than India daytime
• Must be available for off-hour support
